AnchorzUp is launching ANCHORED, a new internship program for Albanian students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals in the diaspora who want to gain meaningful professional experience while reconnecting with Kosovo in a deeper, more impactful way.
The initiative was developed in response to a challenge many diaspora youth face today. While many young Albanians growing up abroad feel a strong connection to Kosovo and are eager to contribute, explore opportunities, or better understand their roots, structured pathways for professional engagement with the country remain limited.
Through ANCHORED, AnchorzUp aims to create those opportunities by bringing together professional experience, mentorship, exposure to innovation, and community engagement in a program specifically designed for diaspora youth.
Why AnchorzUp Created ANCHORED
Kosovo has a growing generation of professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators who are actively shaping the country’s future. At the same time, the Kosovo diaspora represents an incredible source of talent, perspective, and potential collaboration. Connections between the diaspora and Kosovo are often limited to family visits or informal interactions. AnchorzUp believes there is an opportunity to create deeper and more meaningful connections through shared professional experiences.
The program’s goal is to create a platform where diaspora youth contribute, learn, collaborate, and build long-term relationships with professionals and organizations in Kosovo. Along with that, the program seeks to strengthen a sense of belonging and create opportunities between Kosovo and the next generation of Albanians growing up abroad.

Participants will join the AnchorzUp team and contribute to real projects alongside professionals. Opportunities are available in:

Interns are integrated into ongoing projects and day-to-day work, gaining practical experience and exposure to international client work in digital businesses.
Each participant receives individual mentorship and works closely with team leads. The experience also includes founder sessions, guest lectures, and open discussions on entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and Kosovo’s evolving technology ecosystem.
