TOKA Award for AnchorzUp

AnchorzUp Named “Most Supportive Business of the Year” at the Volunteerism Awards 2025

At AnchorzUp, we often talk about grit, ownership, and showing up when it matters. This month, that commitment was recognized on a national stage: AnchorzUp has been awarded “Most Supportive Business of the Year” at the Volunteerism Awards 2025, a meaningful acknowledgment of the work our team continues to do beyond the walls of our office.

Held in Prishtina, the Volunteerism Awards bring together individuals, organizations, and institutions who have made a measurable difference in their communities. To be recognized among so many inspiring contributors is something we deeply appreciate, not as a trophy, but as validation that the small, consistent efforts we make truly add up.

A Recognition Grounded in Real Action

What earned AnchorzUp this recognition was not a single initiative, but rather the collective impact of several efforts carried out throughout the year. Our team supported a range of causes focused on the environment, education, and youth development, areas we believe directly shape the future of Kosovo.

We contributed to initiatives that expand learning opportunities and support the development of young people, an investment in potential that will come back to strengthen our community in the years ahead.

Alongside educational support, our team dedicated time and resources to environmental causes. Organising clean-up actions for Earth Day was just an effort to reflect our belief that progress is not just something we build through technology, it’s something we nurture through responsibility.

And importantly, giving back is not limited to company-led initiatives. AnchorzUp has an internal policy that provides paid time off for team members who want to volunteer. This approach makes volunteering accessible and encourages a culture where everyone can contribute in a way that’s meaningful to them. For us, this is what responsibility looks like in practice: consistent, flexible, and part of everyday life at work.

Celebrating the Community Around Us

Receiving this award places us beside a remarkable group of winners, individuals and organizations who pour their effort, time, and heart into making Kosovo better. Their stories represent bravery, commitment, and long-term dedication, and it was an honor to stand among them.

From volunteers shaping their communities to educational clubs driving youth engagement, each award recipient is proof of the impact that collective action can have. Kosovo’s strength has always come from people who step up — sometimes quietly, sometimes boldly, but always with purpose.

We’re proud to be part of that ecosystem.

A Special Appreciation for TOKA

The event was organized by TOKA, a non-profit organization whose mission aligns closely with the values we uphold. Since 2015, TOKA has worked to empower young people through experiential learning, volunteering, and innovative educational programs. Their focus on supporting disadvantaged girls and boys not only builds skills, it opens doors to opportunity, confidence, and long-term growth.

We deeply admire the work TOKA does across Kosovo. Their dedication to youth development and their long-standing commitment to education make them one of the most impactful organizations in the country. Being recognized in an event driven by such a mission makes this award even more meaningful.

What This Award Means for AnchorzUp

While awards are an honor, they are also a reminder — a reminder that impact is built one action at a time. It comes from a team that values community, a leadership approach that prioritizes responsibility, and a culture that believes success should be shared.

For us, this recognition strengthens our commitment to continue supporting initiatives that matter:

  • projects that protect our environment,
  • programs that expand opportunities for young people,
  • and efforts that encourage everyone on our team to contribute in ways that align with their values and strengths.

AnchorzUp is built on the idea that progress is collaborative. This award is a step forward — not a finish line — and we look forward to continuing this work in the years ahead.

To our team, to the organizers, and to every volunteer and organization that continues to shape positive change in Kosovo: thank you.
