| NOTE: You will be working directly with our U.S. client and will be responsible for crafting robust and maintainable code while closely collaborating with the U.S. team. This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining on-site and remote work. |
The ideal candidate for this Mid-Level role is a creative problem solver who excels in coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge, web-based applications.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate third-party API into our internally developed applications.
- Contribute to the design of a new sign-on system using Alpha Anywhere’s security framework.
- Collaborate closely with a project manager to transform lo-fi wireframes into a comprehensive redesign of existing webpages in the application.
- Develop brand new modules within the web application, drawing from existing functionality in our legacy software while modernizing and enhancing it.
- Implement performance and layout enhancements to existing modules.
- Lead the creation of new modules within the web application.
- Spearhead the development of a brand-new, public-facing application that integrates seamlessly with our existing applications, reaching hundreds of thousands of users on a regular basis.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL, JavaScript, and server-side programming languages.
- Proficiency in CSS and HTML 5 is considered a valuable asset.
- Proven experience working on dynamic data-driven single-page web applications.
- Experience in developing financial, accounting, or banking web applications is a strong plus.
- A deep understanding of modern software development methods and best practices.
- Ability to initiate and actively participate in design and architecture creation and review processes.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strategic mindset focused on understanding the purpose and rationale behind each assignment, while consistently seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Familiarity with browser-based debugging and performance testing tools, such as DevTools for Chrome.
- Willingness to acquire proficiency in the Alpha Anywhere development platform.
